Sunita Williams trapped in space station, deceived by Boeing capsule, Elon Musk will be NASA's God!
Sunita Williams, who went to NASA's International Space
Station on June 6, is stuck there. The Boeing space capsule from which she went
to the ISS has malfunctioned. Sunita's return had to be postponed for the third
time, now NASA can take the help of Musk's SpaceX.
Sunita Williams has reached the International Space Station
(ISS). It may take some more time for them to return to Earth. She flew to the
space station aboard Boeing's Starliner spacecraft with American astronaut
Butch Wilmore. However, NASA has had to postpone their return plan for the
third time.
This has sparked worries that Sunita and Butch, who are of
Indian descent, would get "trapped" there. In actuality, there were several postponements required for this Boeing mission due to initial
technical issues. On June 6, 2024, it eventually arrived at the International
Space Station (ISS).
However, now there is another obstacle in its journey.
Boeing's Space Capsule Caught Cheating
Boeing said in a statement that there were some technical
problems with the space capsule, such as thruster failure and leaky valves, and
that the return of Williams and Butch had to be postponed to fix it.
Kalpana Chawla's memory has increased with these obstacles
coming in this space journey of Sunita Williams. Many are reminded of another
Indian-origin astronaut, Kalpana Chawla, who died in a similar accident while
returning from the ISS.
NASA is also aware of this threat and that is why it does
not want to take any risk. Initially, Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams were
supposed to stay on the ISS for nine days and return to Earth by June 15.
However, NASA extended the date of their return three times and it is not clear
when these two astronauts will be able to return.
While NASA may seek Musk's help, the British tabloid Daily Mail
quoted experts as saying that NASA may be forced to send a new rocket to bring
back the two astronauts. At the same time, he hoped that the help of Elon
Musk's SpaceX could be taken to complete this mission.
"Given the current state of Starliner, NASA may decide to use spacecraft like SpaceX's Crew Dragon to bring
astronauts home safely," said Katsuo Kurabayashi, a professor of aerospace
engineering at New York University."He also allayed concerns about the
safety of Sunita Williams and Butch, saying," "As far as I can tell at
this point, postponing the mission until July should not cause any serious
concern." "" NASA hopes to return the two astronauts to Earth
before the beginning of July.
