AI Technology - Which would we rather have: Natural intelligence or artificial intelligence?

Astrobiologists claim that "Planetary Intelligence" (PI) is manifested by our planet itself, as evidenced by the video.

This suggests that if the earth is alive, it probably contains a "brain" in addition to networks of fungi, roots, and other things. In contrast to the "other PI," which is personal intelligence as defined by Inflection AI & their EQed AI model by the same name (PI).

The technique of biomimicry is influencing the design of many of the AI-powered robots that are starting to appear, as well as informing various AI models like LWMs (large world models). Maybe we may also pick up knowledge and skills from the intelligence of the planet.

Inflexion AI recently lost two of its three founding executives to launch Microsoft AI in a $650 million partial acquisition. At that time (several weeks ago), MS licenced all of Inflections' technology.

At that same time, OpenAI and Google unveiled their "new" next-generation voice functionality, which is strikingly similar to what Inflection had developed. Put that under "things that make you go hmmmm"; the Pi app stopped working when I tried to use it yesterday. However, when I visited their website, pi.ai, it was still operational, and we even talked about my concerns that it was out of date. How wonderful (for now).

I will address a private audience this week as a speaker at Cincy AI Week & will touch on 2 important issues: the first is my perceived need for us to marry AI with blockchain technology, & the second is the convergence of various models such as LLMs, LAMs, LWMs, LNMs & robots, & how I believe that this gets us incredibly close to “early AGI” BUT how if we don’t have a “humanity model” trained on love, empathy, kindness, as well as loneliness, fear, anxiety etc that we will miss the mark; with potentially undesirable outcomes.
