UGC NET 2024 Cancelled: Education Ministry tweeted that UGC NET exam has been cancelled. Education Ministry wrote, the sanctity of the NET exam held on 18 June 2024 has been compromised. This decision has been taken under the inputs given by Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center 14C. Like NEET, UGC NET exam was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Irregularities found in the exam

Education Ministry wrote on 'X', “The government is committed to ensuring the purity of the examinations and protecting the interests of the students. The Ministry of Education has decided that the UGC-NET June 2024 exam will be cancelled based on the inputs from the Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, prima facie indicating that there is tampering in the exam.

UGC NET to be re-examined

UGC NET exam will now be conducted again. Information related to the new date of UGC NET exam will be released separately on ugc net.nic.in.

CBI will investigate
