The price of gold has decreased by about Rs 2500 per 10 grams this week. On Friday, May 24, gold futures ended the day at Rs 71,256 per 10 grams.

The price of gold was going high for the last few days.Along with the price of gold, silver also decreased. In Indian markets, the price of gold has decreased for the third straight day. Precious metal prices dropped by Rs 900 to close at Rs 72,650 per 10 grammes.

Gold fell by Rs 1050 earlier on Thursday. On Wednesday, there was a slight decline of Rs 50. Conversely, silver prices dropped to Rs 92,100, down Rs 500 per kilogramme.

This week, the price of gold has decreased by almost Rs 2,500 per 10 grammes. On Friday, May 17, the price of 10 grammes of gold with delivery on June 5, 2024, ended at Rs 73,711 on the MCX platform. On May 24, the price of the precious metal closed at Rs 71,256 per 10 grammes. In this manner, the cost of 10 grammes of gold has decreased by Rs 2455 this week Prices for silver decreased as well.




On Friday, May 17, the MCX exchange's silver July 5, 2024 delivery closed at Rs 91,024 per kilogramme. On Friday, May 24, silver closed at Rs 90,548 per kilogramme. Thus, this week's price drop for silver has been Rs 476 per kilogramme.

On the global market, the The price of gold has decreased, but it has stayed stable on the domestic market. Gold was selling at USD 2356.90 per ounce on the COMEX, down 2.80 USD, or 0.12%. The price of spot gold increased by 4.56 per ounce, or 0.20 percent, to $2333.83 on the global market Silver increased by 0.14 percent, or US$0.04, per ounce, on the global market to US$30.50. In contrast, silver increased by 0.43 percent, or USD 0.13, to USD 30.26 per ounce.
