Euro 2024: Mbappe's lone goal came from the penalty spot, while France managed just four goals overall throughout the competition.

After France's underwhelming performance at Euro 2024, captain Kylian Mbappe stated his team "didn't do enough" in Tuesday's 2-1 semifinal loss to Spain.

"We didn't do enough to reach the final", was Mbappe's statement to the media. "We are going home because they (Spain) played better than us and they deserved to go to the final".
Mbappe set up Randle Kolo Muani for the opening goal of the match in the ninth minute of the first half, but Spain scored twice in the next four minutes to take the lead.
