 In Calcutta, 120 employees of Britannia's Taratala facility choose to retire voluntarily.     In its Taratala, Calcutta, plant, Britannia Industries offered a voluntary retirement scheme (VRS), which about 120 permanent employees accepted. The management has already begun talking to contract employees about VRS, raising concerns about what would happen to production at the Bengaluru plant, which has been in operation for more than 70 years.   According to a Britannia stock exchange filing, "all the permanent workers of the aforementioned factory of the company have accepted a voluntary retirement scheme offered by the company to the workers at its factory situated at Taratala, Kolkata, West Bengal."   According to the company, the VRS won't have a significant effect on how business is conducted.
