 Wimbledon 2024: Rybakina, Djokovic in semis! 12/7/2024,  Former champion of the prestigious Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament Elina Rybakina, Serbian star Novak Djokovic reached the semifinals. 2022 champion Rybakina defeated Svitolina (Ukraine) 6-3, 6-2 in the women's singles quarters on Wednesday. Rybakina burst out with sharp serves and knocked down her opponent with the same force. Rybakina hit 7 aces and 28 winners in this match. After losing the first game of the first set, Rybakina bounced back immediately. She broke the opponent's service and took a 2-1 lead. Svitolina also fought back to level the score. From there, there was no way for Rybakina. In the second set, she continued the same effort and won.
