The attack left at least ten passengers dead, including a child, and numerous others injured. Terrorists attacked a 53-seater bus in Reasi at around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, causing it to deviate off the path and plunge into a steep valley. The catastrophe claimed the lives of nine persons and injured thirty-three more. This alleged terrorist attack on the tour bus brings to memory an identical occurrence that happened in Jammu and Kashmir on July 10, 2017, involving a vehicle transporting pilgrims from Gujarat travelling to Amarnath. 52 passengers were saved by driver Sheikh Saleem Gafoor despite intense gunfire, although seven pilgrims lost their lives and 19 others were injured.
