Results 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party appears to be holding onto its
advantage in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly election results, based on
preliminary trends.
In the meantime, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha
(SKM) is getting ready to win another term in Sikkim.
The 60 assembly seats of Arunachal
Pradesh were up for election in the first round of the Lok Sabha elections on
April 19.
The BJP has an advantage since it has
won 10 of the state's 60 seats without facing any opposition.
According to data from the Election
Commission, the BJP has already won ten seats without facing any opposition and
is in the lead in more than twenty seats, including Along (West), Along (East),
Lumla, Kalaktang, Koloriang, Nacho, Likabali, and Basar.
Both Deputy Chief Minister Chowna
Mein and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have already secured their seats.
In the previous assembly elections,
which took place in 2019, the Arunachal Pradesh BJP won 41 seats. On April 19,
Sikkim held simultaneous polling for 32 Assembly seats in the first phase of
the just concluded Lok Sabha elections. The SKM won 17 seats and the SDF won 15
seats in the 2019 assembly elections. According to the exit polls, the SKM is
expected to regain control in the state.

stations in Arunachal Pradesh saw a turnout of over 74% of voters and was
