Cast Your Crown: The 2024 MLS All-Star Game Poll is Now Available

Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday, June 10 and will determine 12 of the 26 choices by a combined vote of players, fans, and media.

Fans, journalists, and players can now cast their votes online for the 2024 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target as of Wednesday, June 29.

Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, June 14.

To ensure that Charlotte FC players be in Columbus for the 2024 MLS All-Star Team, please cast your vote today.

The MLS All-Stars will take on the best of LIGA MX in the 2024 MLS All-Star Game, presented by Target, on Wednesday, July 24, at Lower.com Field, home of the reigning MLS Cup winners Columbus Crew.

MLS All-Star Selection
To assign players to the positions where they are most used, MLS looked at participation statistics from the current campaign throughout the voting process. Goalkeeper, right back, centre back, left back, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, and forward/winger are the seven positions in which players will be chosen.

Here is a breakdown of the 26 MLS players who will be chosen for the Target-sponsored All-Star Game:

MLS players, supporters, and media will vote to choose the final 12 players. A third of the total vote will be cast for each of the three voting groups.

Wilfried Nancy, the head coach of the Columbus Crew, an MLS All-Star team that is hosting, will select twelve players.

The MLS commissioner, Don Garber, will select two players.



The players, supporters, and media will select the eleven players who will line up in a 4-1-2-3 formation: one goalkeeper, one right back, two centre backs, one left back, one defensive midfielder, two attacking midfielders, and three forwards/wingers. Based on the overall number of votes given, All-Stars are the best players from each position. The player selected as the 12th will be the one with the second-highest total number of votes cast overall.
In order to be eligible to vote when the ballot was created on May 13, players had to have played in at least 50% of their club's games throughout the season. MLS All-Star head coach Wilfried Nancy or Commissioner Garber may still choose players who weren't included on the poll.



Fan Vote for MLS All-Star Captain During the All-Star voting process, fans will have the opportunity to select one of their 11 favourite players to captain the MLS All-Star team.

Fan voting for the MLS All-Star Starting XI begins today, Wednesday, May 29, at 12 p.m. ET and ends on Monday, June 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Fans have the ability to cast their votes via the MLS App or at mlssoccer.com/all-star/2024/vote/fan-vote. Additionally, each fan gets the exclusive chance to post their selections on social media.

Each player from the 29 MLS clubs will get a special link that allows them to cast a vote for their teammates.

There will also be a selection of 500 media people who regularly cover Major League Soccer.

The MLS All-Star Game specifics
The Target-sponsored MLS All-Star Game and the AT&T-sponsored MLS All-Star Skills Challenge will be broadcast live on Lower.com to viewers in more than 100 countries and regions.
