Minister Mr. Raosaheb Ramrao Patil alias RR Patil was born on 16 August 1957 in Anjani, Taluka Tasgaon, District Sangli. He worked as a politician in Maharashtra, a member of the Nationalist Congress Party, a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and a former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
He was famous among the people as a clean character and honest leader. He was an honest leader who always connected with his soil even when he was in a high position in power.
Minister R. R. Patil got education by doing hard work keeping the mantra of earn and learn. At school age, Principal P.B. Aba got the guidance of Patil. When he was the Home Minister of the state of Maharashtra, Aba saved the lives of many by taking a revolutionary decision to close down dance bars. The decision to close down the dance bar met with a lot of opposition from all walks of life, but Aba stood firm on it.
The Mahatma Gandhi Tanta Mukti Abhiyan implemented by him during his tenure as Home Minister was innovative. Saint Gadge Baba, Mahatma Gandhi, Yashwantrao Chavan took inspiration from them. Minister R. Patil remained simple despite being in power politics. Simplicity was his characteristic. He used to communicate with grassroots workers through this simplicity.

Member of Zilla Parishad, six times MLA, Minister of Rural Development, Home Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, State President of Nationalist Congress Party, Aba remained Aba till the end. Aba ascended each step of power but till the end Aba maintained his simplicity in family and public mind. He was a different politician who created his personality with simplicity even sitting in the seat of power.
Maharashtra had high expectations from these politicians. r r patil r died before he could do much more for society. Minister R. Patil was reached, and a sensible leadership fell.
