Stalin commented on Thursday on his official X Twitter, saying, "It hurts a lot to hear that seven Tamils perished in a fire in Kuwait. The Tamil Nadu government is arranging for the deceased's remains to be flown into India on a private plane and delivered as quickly as possible to their relatives."

He went on, "I have sent the relatives of the deceased my sincerest sympathies and have directed that each family receive Rs 5 lakh in relief. Those receiving treatment for burn injuries will receive all essential support from the Tamil Nadu government."

The depth of the destruction is revealed by the thorough analysis of the victims: Thirteen from Andhra Pradesh, one each from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha, and seven from Tamil Nadu.

The Kuwaiti officials are putting forth a lot of effort to find out what started the fire and to help the impacted families. In addition to offering everyone affected by the tragedy his sincere condolences, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to help in any way he could.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh traveled to Kuwait after the fatal fire event to keep an eye on the situation and make sure that the Indian victims of the fire received proper medical care.
