MK Stalin declares Rs 5 lakh for each family of the seven victims of the Kuwait fire.
The 'labor accommodation' fire in Kuwait's Mangaf district
started in the early hours of Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of 45 Indians.
Chief Minister MK Stalin has offered the families of the
seven Tamil Nadu locals who perished in the Kuwait fire disaster financial
support of Rs 5 lakh apiece.
The terrible fire that started in the "labor
accommodation" in the Mangaf area of Kuwait early on Wednesday morning
claimed the lives of 45 Indians.
Stalin commented on Thursday on his official X Twitter,
saying, "It hurts a lot to hear that seven Tamils perished in a fire in
Kuwait. The Tamil Nadu government is arranging for the deceased's remains to be
flown into India on a private plane and delivered as quickly as possible to
their relatives."
He went on, "I have sent the relatives of the deceased
my sincerest sympathies and have directed that each family receive Rs 5 lakh in
relief. Those receiving treatment for burn injuries will receive all essential
support from the Tamil Nadu government."
The depth of the destruction is revealed by the thorough
analysis of the victims: Thirteen from Andhra Pradesh, one each from Karnataka,
Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha, and seven from Tamil Nadu.
Jharkhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, and the remaining
twenty-three from Kerala.
The Kuwaiti officials are putting forth a lot of effort to
find out what started the fire and to help the impacted families. In addition
to offering everyone affected by the tragedy his sincere condolences, Prime
Minister Narendra Modi promised to help in any way he could.

Singh traveled to Kuwait after the fatal fire event to keep an eye on the
situation and make sure that the Indian victims of the fire received proper
medical care.
On behalf of the Emir of Kuwait, First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah made sure that MoS MEA Vardhan Singh had all the support and assistance required for the victims of the fatal fire incident in which 45 Indians were murdered.
The condolences of Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, were sent by Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. Additionally, he expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Kuwaiti authorities for their proactive facilitation.
Additionally, MoS MEA Singh went to Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital in Kuwait, where seven Indian patients receiving treatment for fire-related injuries are being treated. He checked on them and told them that the Indian government would be there for them.
He expressed gratitude to the hospital administration, physicians, and
nurses for their excellent care of the Indian patients during his visit. Kirti
Vardhan Singh promptly raced to Jaber Hospital upon arriving in Kuwait to check
on the wellbeing of Indians who had been hurt in the fire event in
the vicinity of Mangaf on Wednesday. He saw six wounded
Indians receiving medical attention at the hospital.
The Ministry of External Affairs reported that the fire
claimed the lives of over 40 Indians and injured over 50 others. The injured
are reportedly receiving medical attention at five government hospitals located
in Kuwait.
The majority of the admitted patients are stable, according
to the MEA, which cited hospital officials.
To help people impacted by the tragedy, the Indian Embassy in Kuwait is still in contact with the relevant authorities.
