It's almost time, should we start?
As everyone is aware, Google Drive is a really useful tool for file sharing, saving, and collaboration. However, how many of us are making the most of it?
1. Take advantage of keyboard shortcuts.
To quickly access the search bar, press '/'.
To quickly add a new file, press 'z'.
To make a new folder, simply press 'Shift + T' without using the mouse.
2. Make the stars your closest companion.
Sort your important files by star rating.
To see all of your starred files quickly, simply type 'is: starred' into the search bar.
3. Not all shortcuts are limited to keyboards.
You can select 'Add shortcut to Drive' by performing a right-click on a folder or file.
And boom! You may quickly access your important files and directories.
4. You will save a load of time by using templates.
Create a presentation, spreadsheet, or document in the format of your choice.
Include it in the templates gallery.
This means that all future documents are now clickable.
5. Get better at searching.
Enter the terms "owner: username," "type: pdf," and "before yyyy-mm-dd" into the search field.
Find your files more quickly and accurately.
If utilised correctly, Google Drive has the power to significantly alter your experience.
