The Google Boys," Larry & Sergei, founded Google in the "William Gates Centre"

Did you know that, as part of their doctoral studies at Stanford University in the 1990s,?

"The Google Boys," Larry & Sergei, founded Google at the "William Gates Centre"?

( read: Bill Gates )

"It accomplishes what Yahoo! and Excite do, but Larry and Sergei think they did it much better and think they could build a business around it."

IT WAS BETTER THAN THREE DECADES AGO.

Even though Microsoft and Google are still the two biggest rivals, it's amusing to go back to when Microsoft first released Windows as a Graphic User Interface (GUI) about 40 years ago. For more information, check out this entertaining post and video about the Windows launch
& understand that despite having a decade or more of a head start, both of them are now "in the game & generating significant revenue," much of it from the monetization of our data — "not so fun."

A trillion-dollar ecosystem has been established around Google and Microsoft, two multigenerational, global, foundational organisations, each of which has generated between $10k and $100k of data that we haven't received a dime from.

The companies that make up the Microsoft ecosystem are Apple, OpenAI, AMD, GameStop, LinkedIn, NVIDIA (which oddly uses rival AMD and whose CEOs are first cousins), The Coca-Cola Company, Khan Academy, Cognizant & Vodafone, and, as of late, "Microsoft AI."

Google ecosystem: Accenture, AT&T, Samsung Electronics, Hedera Hashgraph, HSBC, and Google DeepMind, among others.

Between these two titans, there is a great deal of interdependence, overlap, "coincidence," and ultimately POWER. Finally, it's worth noting that Microsoft recently acquired the rights to all of Inflection AI's technology, including Pi (personal intelligence), an emotionally expressive and intelligent voice assistant that is strikingly similar to what Google and OpenAI (Microsoft) both unveiled a week ago.
This left just Reid Hoffman. That was one or two weeks following the "buy-out."

We do need openness, decentralisation, democratisation, and safeguards on all this tech and data—I'm not saying there's something sinister here.

And there's also the story of Sun Microsystems founder Andy Bechtolsheim seeding Google with a $100K cheque to undergraduate students Sergei and Larry.

Is it possible to profit by giving your finest business advice? Both the short and long answers are yes. Come practise creating VIDEOS of yourself with me on BlockBook so that you may best position yourself to take advantage of LinkedIn's new video feature.

Just so you know LinkedIn is launching "Video," which is a stream of user-generated films that offer a range of advice, insights, and news similar to TikTok but more positive and productive. You only need to create and publish videos here if you want to be featured there and connect with a new, relevant audience.

View my personal video and the competition here: Videos must be submitted for $5, with $500 going to the winner in addition to several thousand dollars in PR and "growth hacks" consultancy fees. In addition to my and my teams' choices, the audience will provide input to choose the winners.

I just ran a contest on BB to educate people on how to create AI-generated music and music videos. who won $1,000 in cash and other great prizes, is the winner of the contest; you can see her entry and the others on my profile there.
I adore this song and find it astounding that artificial intelligence created it, even though I wish the music video had given a little more of a tale. & followed the lyrics a little more; it's artistic, and some of the scenes are very amazing; I can't believe artificial intelligence (AI) created it.

The short answer to how to make money from sharing your best business advice is to enter (and win!) the contest. The longer answer is that by sharing your advice here to benefit others and add value, you can create a rapport, attract people who think you're worth hiring, working with, or purchasing from, and you can also be featured on LinkedIn's "video" section where their AI will find the right candidates for you.

In that vein, I present to you my latest BlockBook contest in the hopes of pushing you, if you haven't already, to step outside your comfort zone. Even if you choose not to enter my contest there, I still strongly advise you to record some and post them and I'll periodically visit and interact with all of your videos there.

The procedure is simple:

take out your phone - click "camera" - change to "video" mode - ensure that it is facing front - press record - begin speaking - watch to see if you enjoy it

Added Benefits Include captions for people who have hearing loss, are unable to adjust the volume while at work, etc.
Many people follow the hashtag #captioned, so if it applies to you, use it.
Additionally, the feature functions flawlessly.

That is the only step involved! I'm excited to watch a tonne of your videos and take in all of your fantastic business advice!
