According to the police, the accused was named Vadodara resident Viral Shah. The criminal branch of the Mumbai police apprehended him.

An official stated that the Mumbai police detained a 32-year-old engineer from Gujarat on Tuesday due to his social media post regarding a bomb threat made during Anant Ambani's wedding, which took place here last week and is the youngest son of businessman Mukesh Ambani.

He claimed that the accused was identified as Vadodara resident Viral Shah.
"He was nabbed this morning by the Mumbai police's crime branch from his residence in Gujarat," added the officer.

When X user @ffsfir posted about the possible threat, the Mumbai police were put on high notice.
The post said, "My mind is wondering shamelessly that half the world would go upside down tomorrow after a bomb went off at the Ambani wedding." One pin code can contain trillions of dollars."
The cops increased the wedding's security after publishing the post.

"The police also launched an investigation into the potential threat," according to him.
The X user was located in Vadodara during the investigation, the official stated, adding that a team from the Mumbai criminal branch was dispatched to the city in the adjacent state and they arrested the culprit there.
The accused was then taken to Mumbai.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia, wed Radhika Merchant, the daughter of pharmaceutical tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, on July 12 at a star-studded ceremony held at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) at Jio World Convention Centre.

Celebrities from all over the world, politicians, the who's who of South and Hindi cinema, and nearly all of the nation's best cricket players attended the grand event.
