India Post has released the much-awaited recruitment notification inviting online applications for 44228 vacancies of GDS, BPM, and ABPM posts. How to apply.

 

 

India Post has released the much-awaited recruitment notification inviting online applications for the post of  GDS, BPM, and ABPM. A total of 44228 vacancies have been notified. The online application begins today, July 15 and will end on August 5. Aspirants can apply online at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The vacancies are for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) as Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak posts. Candidates who have passed the class 10th exam from a recognised board can apply online. 

India Post has notified the vacancies that will be filled across the country including states like- Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, NorthEast, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, TamilNadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. India Post GDS Salary

Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon are paid to the GDS. The applicable TRCA to different categories are as under:

BPM- Rs.12,000- 29,380

ABPM -Rs.10,000- 24,470

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have a secondary school examination pass certificate of the 10th standard, having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) from any recognized board of school education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India.

Applicants must pay a fee of Rs 100/- for all positions advertised in the selected division.

 

All-female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PWD candidates, and Transwoman candidates are exempted from paying application fees.
