Election Commission (EC) statistics show that 8,77,23,028 of the 15,41,03,670 electors in the state—where polling was performed in all seven stages of this general election—executed their right to vote.

 

 

 

According to the figures, 4,64,84,215 men and 4,12,38,003 women cast ballots. Election officials released data showing that the polling percentage for men (56.65) fell 2.08 percentage points in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls compared to the 2019 results (58.73).

 

 

 

According to the data, there was a 2.73 percentage point decrease in the women's polling percentage (57.24) this year compared to the 2019 figure (59.97).

 

 

 

The officials also pointed out that 12.97 lakh more women cast ballots in this Lok Sabha election than in the previous one in 2019 and it exceeded 2.04 lakh for men.

The Indian National Congress (INC or Congress), the All India Trinamool Congress, and the Samajwadi Party (SP), led by Akhilesh Yadav, make up the INDI Alliance. AITMC is running for one seat, the Congress Party for seventeen, and the SP for sixty-two seats.

Defying the challenge of the SP-BSP coalition, the BJP gained 62 seats and its ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) two seats in the most recent Lok Sabha elections.
